Overview Our Teen Center Director is the face of our Downtown Club and works with the Executive Director and Operations Director on strategic planning for our Teen Center. The Director is responsible for managing program staff and developing routines that equip all young people with essential skills and attitudes to lead healthy, productive lives in vocation, community service and environmental stewardship. The Program director will oversee the budget for supplies and maintain a safe and clean working environment for youth. Essential Responsibilities Club Leadership and Strategy Manage grant deliverables and budget for the Teen Center Operate under Boys & Girls Club of America Policies & Procedures Monitor program engagement and reporting for effectiveness Direct program staff and conduct annual evaluations Build relationships with other youth service organizations Create opportunities to recruit Members and grow enrollment Manage grant deliverables and budget for the Teen Center Club Management and Development Engage with families and service providers Maintain an up-to-date inventory of Club equipment and assets Work with administration to ensure a healthy and safe work environment Address health/safety issues promptly and effectively Develop a professional development plan for staff Additional Details Must have a valid driver's license and no major traffic violations Assist with driving vans for student pickups, when necessary Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to lift up to 35 pounds This is a 40 hour a week full-time exempt position. Hours of operation vary between summer and school year activities. Compensation is $24-26 an hour based on experience.
