Key Responsibilities:

Assign volunteer requests based on availability and program needs. Work closely with Executive and Clinical Leadership to develop, implement and monitor, innovative and impactful volunteer programs Track and manage volunteer assignments and hours

Volunteer Follow-up & Support:

Regularly follow up with volunteers to ensure assigned visits are completed and required frequencies are met. Ensure volunteers complete and submit accurate and timely documentation.

Volunteer Onboarding:

Meet with and onboard new volunteers to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities. Maintain and audit volunteer personnel records to ensure all credentials are present and current

Special Volunteer Assignments:

Coordinate volunteers for special events such as gift deliveries, holiday activities, and other ad-hoc tasks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, public relations or equivalent combination of experience and education. Hospice experience and/or commitment to hospice philosophy preferred. Proven experience in volunteer coordination and oversight.

Skills:

Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Proficiency with computer systems, data entry and management, and other forms of technology. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and in accordance with all HIPAA laws and regulations. Must be able to provide own transportation. Valid California driver's license and auto insurance. Ability to manage time, work independently with minimal supervision and handle multiple priorities. Why Join Us?
