Shift 1, Days Work Schedule Position Summary The Hospice Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for the implementation of the Hospice Volunteer Program, including inpatient, bereavement and homecare. The implementation involves the selection, training, support and supervision of qualified individuals to enhance Hospice patient/family care.
Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED Experience in the area of loss, grief and family dynamics preferred. Experience working with volunteer groups preferred. Must be outgoing, friendly and mature. Personal qualities of neatness, tactfulness, dependability, and non-judgmental sensitivity when dealing with people. Must have a good understanding of volunteer motivation. Ability to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members and Hospice patients and families. Good organizational skills and computer experience required.
