Job Description

Please sent updated resumes to Humanresources@cyskids.org to be considered for this position. Crosswinds Youth Services has a position for a Youth Specialist for the Robert E. Lehton Children's Shelter working with a team to assist young people in crisis.
Job Summary:
Directly supervises and facilitates the activities of youth residing in the Shelter. Implements and coordinates plans regarding the care and development of Shelter clients and the upkeep of the facility. Handles crisis calls, other calls and visitors in a professional manner. The incumbent is required to uphold confidentiality and respect to all clients in all instances. Works up to 40 hours per week with opportunity for overtime as needed.

Full-time Required:
Must have High School Diploma/GED. Must have a Valid Driver's License (Will be required to operate a 15-passenger van or other vehicles). Employer does background check (Must be able to pass a state background check). Must have a good driving record. Employer does drug testing. Two years' experience working with youth. Weekends are required Will be working with youth from challenging life circumstances. We are a youth shelter for homeless and runaway youth.
