Job Description

We are looking for qualified social services professionals aspiring to make a difference in the community. If you would enjoy helping others to lead meaningful lives, this job could be for you. Join our team with providing care and community activities for individuals in need of community support services. Interested candidates would need to be 18 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent and have a valid driver's license. Criminal Justice Degree does not qualify. You must have 5 years of Human Services experience if you do not have a Human Services Degree. Must work a minimum of 40 hours per month. Roles and Responsibilities Implements interventions outlined in the individualized treatment plan Intervenes as needed when behavior problems are exhibited by the client Provides training, support and modeling techniques to youth/parents/guardians. Provides positive reinforcement to the client Implements consequences Attends training sessions Completes necessary paperwork as required Requirements High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required. (5 years Human Services Experience Required) Bachelor's Degree or higher in Human Services (No Human Services Experience Required) Ability to function independently and as part of a team. Understanding of the issues that individuals with behavioral, substance abuse and mental health issues experience. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative professional relationships. Excellent communication skills. Ability to project a professional image. Fingerprinting is required Part-time positions are currently available. Clean Driving Record. Complete state required trainings.
