Hospice Volunteer Coordinator - Full-Time Seasons Care Hospice - Metro Atlanta, GA Seasons Care Hospice is seeking a compassionate and organized Hospice Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, train, schedule, and support volunteers who serve our patients, families, and administrative team. This full-time position requires regular travel throughout Metro Atlanta and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruit volunteers through community organizations, schools, churches, social media, and outreach events Interview, screen, onboard, and train new volunteers Match volunteers with appropriate patient-care, caregiver-respite, bereavement, administrative, and community assignments Supervise volunteers and provide ongoing support and education Collaborate with nurses, social workers, chaplains, aides, and other team members Maintain accurate volunteer files, training records, service hours, and reports Ensure compliance with HIPAA, hospice policies, patient care plans, and applicable regulations Coordinate volunteer-recognition activities and community events

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required At least one year of related experience preferred Volunteer coordination, hospice, healthcare, human services, recruitment, or community-outreach experience preferred Strong communication, organization, leadership, and time-management skills Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, and electronic documentation systems Able to work independently and maintain confidentiality Must complete all required background checks, health screenings, orientation, and training

Travel Requirements:

Candidates must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance. Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required.
