Field and Volunteer Coordinator | Conrad Cable for Congress The June Group Shreveport, LA Job Details Part-time | Contract 16 hours ago Qualifications Program management Interpersonal skills Volunteer management Phone communication Grassroots phone banking Organizational skills Full Job Description Position Overview Conrad Cable for Congress is hiring a Field and Volunteer Coordinator to build and run all aspects of the campaign's grassroots operation from now through the primary Election Day on November 3rd. This person will oversee volunteer recruitment and management, field organizing strategy, and voter contact program execution across LA-4. Hours & Compensation 30-40 hours per week. Compensation commensurate with experience. Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of the campaign's field and volunteer program Recruit, train, and manage a growing base of campaign volunteers Cut turf and pull voter contact lists Build and run canvassing, phone banking, and text banking programs Set and track voter contact goals, and report metrics regularly to campaign leadership Plan and staff campaign field events, including canvass launches and community outreach Maintain volunteer database and shift scheduling systems Coordinate with the campaign team on event build and event recruitment Identify and cultivate volunteer leaders Represent the campaign at community events, coalition meetings, and partner organization gatherings as needed Work closely with the campaign team to align field strategy with overall campaign goals Qualifications Must be based in Louisiana's 4th Congressional District Experience in field organizing, community organizing, or volunteer management; campaign experience preferred Proficient with VAN/MiniVAN or similar voter contact tools Strong organizational skills and follow-through; able to manage multiple volunteer shifts and priorities at once Excellent interpersonal skills and comfort talking to strangers, on doors and on the phone Self-starter who can work independently and problem-solve in a fast-moving campaign environment Reliable transportation, given the travel required across the district Familiarity with LA-4 a plus Availability for evening and weekend work as the program demands To Apply Send a resume and brief note on relevant experience to .
