CRISIS SPECIALIST HEALTHPORT IS HIRING!
Now hiring for 3-day and 4-day work week.
CRISIS SPECIALIST
Crisis Specialist Position Summary:
The Crisis Specialist is responsible for coordinating follow-ups with clients referring to treatment and developing a network of community crisis support. This is a full-time awake overnight position.
Schedule:
Friday-8:30 am-8:30 pm Saturdays-8:30pm-8:30 am Sunday-8:30pm-8:30 am
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain total confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA law, CARF accreditation standards and Maryland State Regulations. Carry out the Crisis Stabilization Plan developed by the treatment team. Carry out triage on emergency mental health calls for agency on call system. Provide immediate support and assessment to clients experiencing a crisis. Complete all required documentation and reports in a timely fashion.
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or related field. Equivalent experience can be substituted for degree. At least 1-2 years of experience in crisis invention or mental health services Current CPR and First Aid Valid driver's license with a safe driving record. Formal training or significant experience in crisis interventions. Experience with conflict resolution and de-escalating techniques. Why work for HealthPort?
