Job Description
General Statement of Responsibilities Under the supervision of the Shelter Operations Manager, the Youth Service Specialist will provide for the basic needs of runaway, homeless, and otherwise at-risk youth ages 12 through 21 who voluntarily admit themselves into shelter. The overall safety and well-being of the youth in shelter is the number one goal of the Youth Service Specialist. In addition, the Youth Service Specialist will play an instrumental role in teaching and role modeling independent living skills using positive youth development philosophy.
