Nexus Family Healing has an exciting opportunity for a Visitation Monitor position based in the Central Region of Minnesota out of our Waite Park, MN office! At Nexus Family Healing , we provide foster care and adoption services to children and their families throughout Minnesota. We're part of Nexus Family Healing , a national nonprofit mental health organization that restores hope for thousands of children and families who come to us for outpatient/community mental health services, foster care and adoption, and residential treatment. This position is responsible for fostering the development of healthy family relationships and supportive living environments by facilitating visitations and documenting family visits in a supervised and controlled setting, as identified in the service plan and/or Individual Treatment Plan. Part-time, 5-10 hours per week. This position is flexible
  • you can work any number of days or evenings, between the hours of 8AM
  • 8PM, Monday
  • Saturday.

Responsibilities:
Facilitating visitations and documenting family visits in a supervised and controlled setting, as identified in the service plan and/or Individual Treatment Plan Fostering the development of healthy family relationships and supportive living environments
Schedule/Pay:
Part-time, 5-10 hours per week. Flexible hours! Work any number of days or evenings, between the hours of 8AM
  • 8PM, Monday
  • Saturday Starting pay rate of $16 per hour !
Requirements:
Qualifications:
Preferred minimum of 2000 hours experience working in Human Services field; working with children and families preferred Bachelors or Associates in the Human Service field preferred, or in the process of obtaining a degree in the Human Service field Ability to work evenings and weekends Valid driver's license required Must have the ability to build strong relationships with diverse individuals or communities and understand their unique needs and challenges. Must be open to meeting the cultural needs of individuals or communities, considering factors such as language, traditions, and values. Must successfully pass a DHS/DCFS/CJIS/DHHS/ODHS or other federal and state criminal background check Strong oral and written communication skills Strong problem solving and conflict resolutions skills Commitment to
