Job Description
Seeking NC Certified Peer Support Specialist for the TASC program working within a team approach at Insight Human Services organization. Peer Support Specialist will provide additional support to clients on probation/parole CJS with recovery focused services promoting progress toward their goals as active clients of TASC program. Peer Support Specialist will provide role model of recovery and wellness for the clients. PSS will be part of a team with care managers, program managers, clinical coordinators, administrative staff. Duties may include coaching skills, mentoring, peer counseling, presenting psycho-educational classes; transporting clients to therapy appointments, attend group and individual supervision meetings. Qualifications 18 years or older Experiences in recovery from a significant mental health or substance use disorder Recovery for at least two years High School Diploma or equivalent
