Job Description
Volunteer/Events Coordinator Love working on behalf of kids? Like wearing many hats? Looking for an engaging part-time job during the school year? If you answered "YES" and have a knack for organization, event-planning and communication, apply for the Volunteer/Events Coordinator at Girls on the Run of Nebraska, a youth-development organization that combines education and physical activity to build confidence and character in young girls. The Coordinator recruits, screens and helps train 200+ volunteer coaches and oversees 5K volunteers for two/three GOTR road races each year. The position supports all aspects of operations, from fundraising to fulfillment and everything in between. The ideal candidate has exceptional customer service and follow-through, is a natural communicator, a pro with Microsoft Office Suite, and is familiar with CRMs and email marketing programs. We'll train the right person who is highly organized, detail-oriented, positive and committed to learning. Flexible schedule (average 15 to 25 hours weekly) during the school year (Aug. 1 to May 31).
