Then Mountain Lake Services might be the place for you! We are offering a flexible Monday through Friday schedule for our Community Habilitation Specialist position being offered in Port Henry, NY.

What you get to do:

Includes but is not limited to the following Provide direct support to children and adults with ID/DD living in the community. Plan and implement a variety of recreational activities/opportunities and play a lead role in developing meaningful in-house and community activities with an emphasis on age-appropriate activities and social experience. Actively network within the community to help develop friendships, natural supports, volunteer opportunities etc.

Requirements:

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Experience:

Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred. Develop your skills in an environment rich with training opportunities and career advancement. Employees matter!
