$15.00-$17.00 per hour Murrow Indian Children's Home is seeking a dependable, caring, and responsible Houseparent to provide supervision, guidance, and support to children and youth living in our residential program. The Houseparent plays an important role in creating a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment while helping residents develop the skills they need to succeed. Responsibilities Provide consistent supervision and support to residents. Maintain a safe, clean, structured, and welcoming home environment. Assist residents with daily routines, personal responsibility, and life skills. Encourage positive behavior, personal growth, education, and independence. Transport residents to school, appointments, activities, and other approved events as needed. Prepare or assist with meals and maintain appropriate household routines. Monitor residents and ensure compliance with house rules and program expectations. Provide encouragement and appropriate guidance during difficult situations. Complete required documentation, incident reports, and daily logs. Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, families, schools, and other professionals. Participate in staff meetings, training, and other program activities. Follow all Murrow Indian Children's Home policies and applicable licensing requirements. Serve as a positive role model for the children and youth in our care. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience working with children, youth, residential care, foster care, education, or human services is preferred. Must be dependable, patient, mature, and able to work as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain appropriate professional boundaries. Must be able to respond calmly and appropriately to challenging situations. Must be willing to complete required background checks and training. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record preferred/required for positions involving transportation.
