Full-time Qualifications:
Experience 1 to 3 years of Property Management Education High School Diploma Knowledge, skills and abilities Experience in community development Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and prioritize with little to no supervision Strong interpersonal and communication skills with Landlords, Experience in property management or housing manage Proficiency in the use of computers for: Word processing Dropbox Databases Spreadsheets E-mail Internet Physical Requirements Provide overall coordination of individualized services designed to help program participants obtain and remain in permanent housing; increasing their skills and/or income; and achieve greater self-determination..
Position Summary:
Ability to comfortably drive or commute to neighborhoods throughout the community and occasionally out of area travel. Must have own vehicle with insurance. Identifies property owners (private and non-profit) and negotiates master leases agreements. Conducts unit inspections and ensures that the units meet HUD's Housing Quality Standards. Secures and array of units to ensure that the program participants may choose a unit according to their individual needs and preferences Collects rent from program participants Ensures lease compliance Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with property owners Responds immediately to incidents Provides monthly unit inspections and reports any lease violation to both program participant and social service staff Coordinates with social service staff to remedy any lease violations Assists program participants in meeting the obligations of tenancy Collaborates with social services staff to help program participants maintain housing Attend and participate in all collaborative social services and property management meetings Maintains confidentiality of all program participants records Assist program staff in achieving goal Other duties as assigned.
