Job Description
Must have a Bachelors degree in the human service field. Will work in the Crisis Services Unit as the in-house crisis specialist. Will be responsible for face-to-face (or via teleservices) crisis assessments and referral services for individuals experiencing mental health crisis. Duties shall include initial contact and assessment activities, crisis intervention and symptom management techniques, commitment evaluations, and referral and admission services. Will work closely with psychiatrist, nurses and counseling staff. Will make appropriate referrals to Andrews Center services as well as to other community agencies. Will assist with maintaining good public relations with agencies accepting and referring individuals for mental health services. Athens Full Time Great Benefits
