Description:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The Volunteer Coordinator will supervise and evaluate volunteer participants. The Volunteer Coordinator will recruit, screen, select and train volunteers. The Volunteer Coordinator will assess the patient or caregiver's volunteer needs. Volunteer Coordinator will assign volunteers to meet patient needs and promote volunteer interest and skills. Prepare client clinical and progress notes, incorporating notes into the electronic clinical record. Participate in the development of client's plan of care and assure compliance for volunteer services. The Volunteer Coordinator will support the agency's plan of care for services each patient receives through effective coordination with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) and attendance at IDT meetings. Volunteer Coordinator will coordinate program events such as Volunteer Training, Volunteer Appreciation Programs, Volunteer Fair and Volunteer Continuing Education programs. •The IDEAL candidate for this position is someone who is a self-starter, organized and detail-oriented. •This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive and the employee will also perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by management.Location:
