This role isn't about selling, but rather it's about building relationships, sharing meaning information and helping families find the care they deserve when they need it most. This role focuses on education, outreach and business development while ensuring full compliance with hospice regulations and ethical standards. As a marketer you'll spend your time out with the community, getting to know doctors, nurses, case managers and care teams, helping them understand how hospice can support their patients and families. The ideal candidate is empathetic and organized in hospice marketing. Responsibilities Develop and maintain referral relationships in the market Educate referral sources on hospice eligibility, services and benefits Promote hospice service through presentations, and community outreach Track referral activity and maintain accurate documentation utilizing our system on a weekly basis Collaborate with clinical and leadership teams to ensure smooth patient transitions Stay compliant with Medicare, CMS, hospice, and HIPAA regulations Represent our hospice with kindness, professionalism and integrity Skills Minimum 1-3 years of experience in hospice marketing Strong understanding of hospice philosophy, eligibility criteria and referral process Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills Ability to build trust based relationships with clinical and administrative professionals Highly organized, self motivated and goal oriented Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation and insurance Bilingual Spanish required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Existing referral relationships with local healthcare community
