We are seeking highly compassionate and motivated individuals to join our team. We provide a supportive environment that fosters professional growth and development. This position will be serving clients in Fairfax County.
COMMUNITY SUPPORT SPECIALIST
:
  • provides mental health skill-building services to adults diagnosed with mental illness in the individual's home or in the community
  • partners with clients to create goals and develop the ISP
  • helps clients develop skills that promote stability, employment, housing retention and community engagement
  • engages clients in education and counseling that promotes healthy life choices and actions
  • collaborates, coordinates and advocates with other service providers
  • links clients to needed resources
  • maintains the clinical records for all assigned clients This position will primarily provide serves in Western Fairfax and Loudoun Counties.
Required qualifications : Bachelors in the Human Services, 1 year of relevant practical experience and Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) Certification in Virginia are required.
