at Wood4Good, LTD. in Jericho, Vermont, United States Job Description Wood4Good, New England's Largest firewood bank provides free firewood to Vermont families in need. We are seeking a Woodlot Manager for our Jericho location to help lead our firewood production and distribution operations. Responsibilities Cut firewood in preparation for Volunteer days and manage the project flow. Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, skid steers, and wood-processing equipment. Lead and supervise volunteers during woodlot workdays. Coordinate firewood distribution projects and remote processing sites. Perform routine equipment maintenance and repairs. Occasional overnight travel to remote Vermont locations. Qualifications Expert level chainsaw experience required. Heavy equipment operation experience required. Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment maintenance experience. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Valid driver's license/CDL preferred/ Good driving record Ideal Candidate A skilled woodsman, mechanic, logger, arborist, or heavy equipment operator who is passionate about helping Vermont families stay warm and enjoys leading volunteers and solving problems in the field.
