Responsibilities Plan, organize, and facilitate youth group activities, educational programs, and recreational events that promote development and teamwork Ensure the safety of all participants through vigilant supervision, adherence to child supervision protocols, and implementation of behavior management strategies Manage classroom or activity space effectively using strong classroom management techniques to foster a positive learning environment Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, following established first aid protocols to address minor injuries or health concerns promptly Support children with special needs by adapting activities and providing appropriate accommodations in collaboration with other team members experienced in special education Lead outdoor work activities such as sports coaching, camp experiences, or nature exploration to encourage physical activity and environmental awareness Maintain detailed records of attendance, incident reports, and program evaluations to ensure compliance with safety standards and program goals Experience Prior experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, preschool, or after-school programs is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques Experience facilitating youth group activities or camp programs that promote social-emotional learning and teamwork Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Certifications including CPR, First Aid, AED operation, and familiarity with first aid protocols are required; ongoing training will be provided if needed Background in sports coaching, babysitting, tutoring, or Christian counseling adds value to your ability to connect with diverse youth populations Proven team leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic environment Join us in creating a vibrant space where young people can grow confidently!
