Part-Time Opportunities Compensation:

In-home and community-based Position Summary Bridging Gapss, LLC is seeking dependable, compassionate, and flexible Respite Care Providers / Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) interested in providing community-based support services to individuals and families. Services may take place in an individual's home, community, or other approved setting . Providers may support individuals through supervision, companionship, meaningful activities, community participation, and other authorized respite or direct-support services. Respite services provide caregivers with temporary relief while helping ensure the individual receives safe, respectful, and person-centered support. Current Service Opportunities Service opportunities may be available during: Early mornings beginning around 7:00 AM Daytime hours Evenings through approximately 7:00-7:30 PM Saturdays Sundays Weekdays and weekends based on client needs and authorized services Independent contractors may indicate their availability and determine whether to accept offered service opportunities. The availability, location, frequency, and duration of service opportunities may vary based on client needs and authorized services. Scope of Services Depending on the individual and authorized service, contracted services may include: Providing respite and direct-support services in approved home and community settings. Providing appropriate supervision and support based on the individual's needs. Supporting recreational, social, and community-based activities. Encouraging independence, choice, and positive social interaction. Providing services consistent with the individual's authorized service plan. Maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. Communicating professionally with individuals, families, caregivers, and designated Bridging Gapss contacts. Completing applicable service documentation accurately and within established program or billing requirements. Accurately documenting authorized service time. Maintaining confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries. Reporting applicable incidents, concerns, or changes in accordance with program and safety requirements. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting children, youth, individuals with disabilities, or individuals receiving community-based services is preferred. Experience in caregiving, childcare, behavioral health, social services, human services, or related areas is beneficial. High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to independently provide services in client homes and community settings. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. Professional, dependable, patient, respectful, and compassionate approach. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries. Provider Requirements Depending on the contracted services and program requirements, providers may be required to: Be at least 18 years of age. Successfully complete applicable caregiver/background screening. Meet applicable credentialing and program eligibility requirements. Complete applicable orientation, training, or compliance requirements associated with the contracted services. Maintain reliable transportation for community-based service opportunities. Maintain any required driver's license, automobile insurance, or other documentation when transportation is applicable to the contracted service. Independent Contractor Opportunity This opportunity is structured as a 1099 independent contractor engagement . Contractors may be offered service opportunities based on client needs, qualifications, service location, authorized services, and contractor availability. Contractors may indicate their availability and determine whether to accept offered service opportunities. Availability and frequency of service opportunities are not guaranteed and may vary based on client and program needs. Independent contractors are responsible for applicable federal, state, and local taxes and are not eligible for employee benefits. Contractors are responsible for meeting applicable credentialing, documentation, safety, confidentiality, service-plan, program, and regulatory requirements associated with the services they contract to provide.
