Gambling Treatment Counselor Help people reclaim their lives from gambling addiction, in a program built specifically for it. Algamus Recovery Services is looking for a Gambling Treatment Counselor to join a specialized residential team dedicated exclusively to gambling addiction recovery. This isn't a generalist addiction role where gambling gets folded into a broader caseload. It's focused clinical work with a population that rarely gets the depth of care it deserves elsewhere. You'll run individual and group sessions, build treatment plans, and walk alongside clients as they rebuild their relationship with money, trust, and themselves. What You'll Do

• Facilitate group therapy focused on peer support, coping skills, and relapse prevention
• Conduct thorough clinical assessments and build individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based counseling (CBT, MI, DBT) for gambling addiction and co
• occurring issues like depression, anxiety, or trauma
• Educate clients and families on the addiction cycle and path to recovery
• Maintain accurate, compliant clinical documentation What You Bring
• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field
• LPC, LAC, LCSW, LSW, LMFT, or LISAC preferred (supervision available if you're working toward licensure)
• Addiction counseling experience; gambling-specific experience a strong plus
• Comfort with EHR systems and clean documentation
