Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director and Program Director, the Counselor provides a variety of interventions including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and other relevant services to the clients. The Substance Use Counselor provides individual and group services for people who are experiencing substance use disorders. The Counselor will work as part of an interdisciplinary team and provide services in a primary care setting. The main responsibility of this position will be facilitating groups on-site, providing one-on-one counseling sessions, and completing the necessary subsequent documentation. Qualifications Certification as a CAADE, CADTP, SUDCC, or CCAPP, required. Must be CADC or equivalent.

Ability to work flexible hours (including evening hours) to meet client needs and at different site locations. Knowledge of HIPPA compliance to client/agency records according to established professional social standards.
