Full Job Description Schedule:
Some evenings required. Company Overview New Dawn Treatment Center has been a cornerstone of mental health and addiction treatment in Sacramento and Reno, for over 30 years. Our mission is to provide evidence-based treatment with a person-centered approach, ensuring every client experiences transformative care. Summary We are seeking a dedicated IOP Program DIrector to join our team at New Dawn Treatment Center in Sacramento, Ca. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to our mission by providing compassionate support and effective therapeutic interventions to individuals seeking recovery. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of those we serve and supervision of the day-to-day operations of the IOP site location.
Responsibilities:
Supervisor to the site IOP SUD Counselors. May have a caseload when necessary. Complete utilization reviews to obtain insurance authorizations. Participates in client treatment planning and continuum of care. Conducts group sessions as scheduled, and documents as required. Assists with modifying behavioral problems, as needed. Responsible for initial treatment assessments, as well as follow up assignments. Ensures all documentation regarding client care, treatment and incidents is completed promptly. Provides crisis intervention to clients, as needed. Maintain a positive therapeutic environment, providing individual and group counseling. Oversee and manage client incidents, ensuring they are addressed promptly and effectively, and ensure that incident reports are completed accurately and on time. Complete necessary community referrals and ensure continuity of care with other agencies as needed. Conduct assessments, screenings, treatment planning, and managing clients' progress. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must possess a current and valid certification: SUDCC or CADC. Must have at least two years' experience working with clients with substance use disorder. Experience in conducting group sessions and one on one sessions required. Understands the principles and applications of evidenced based treatment modalities. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and maintain personal auto insurance coverage. Current CPR and First Aid certifications are required. Must have a current TB test or chest x-ray. Experience in electronic charting preferred. Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA and CFR-42 client confidentiality regulations. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work well and quickly under pressure both individually and as part of a team. Excellent project management skills to consistently meet deadlines. Strong organizational skills with superior attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal skills.
