40 hours per week with work schedule option and rotating weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm or 8:30 pm to 5:00 pm OR Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am to 5:30 pm (9 hours) and Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (8 hours), off every other Friday As a Substance Use Counselor, you will: Provide crisis intervention, case management and rehabilitative counseling services and provides and/or coordinates substance abuse assessment, treatment planning, and service delivery tailored to the individual needs of the clients served Provide individual and group substance abuse counseling Assist in developing and designing curriculum and facilitates co-occurring disorders groups Facilitate substance abuse groups and networks with community substance treatment providers Develop and maintain client service plans that address the needs of each individual served in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team Provide cross-training for the rest of the team to deal effectively with substance abuse issues and optimize collaboration and support Services are provided in the clients' homes as well as in community-based sites
