Scotts Valley Treatment Center is seeking a Registered or Certified Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Counselo r to join our residential treatment team.

•This is not a Case Management position at this time

•

Primary Duties:

Facilitate substance use disorder recovery and educational groups Provide general client supervision and support Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients Assist with maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive treatment environment Complete required documentation related to assigned duties Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned to support facility operations and client needs

Qualifications:

Current California-recognized AOD Counselor registration/certification required 3 years experience working in substance use disorder treatment preferred Dependable, professional, and able to work effectively as part of a treatment team Ability to appropriately supervise and interact with clients in a residential setting

Schedule:

This position requires evening and weekend availability. Applicants must be willing and able to work regularly scheduled evening and weekend shifts.
