Assists clients in dealing with personal and professional problems related to substance abuse. May work in a clinic, health care facility or community based program, or work with clients referred through the criminal justice system.

Job Description:
Mojo Solutions and Services MSS LLC is seeking a dedicated and qualified Drug/Alcohol Abuse Counselor (TEAP Specialist) to join our team supporting the Collbran Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center in Collbran, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting ongoing counseling, developing intervention plans, and leading substance abuse prevention programs to support students and young adults in achieving their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Counseling & Support:
Conduct ongoing individual and group substance abuse counseling, including introducing students to self-help programs and intervention strategies.
Intervention Planning:
Coordinate career plans and intervention planning in collaboration with center counselors, health providers, educators, and instructors; maintain student intervention plans and behavioral contracts.
Drug Testing:
Conduct drug testing following strict chain-of-custody expectations and manage testing supplies.
Reporting & Compliance:
Compile monthly and quarterly reports for the National Health Office. Ensure full compliance with Job Corps PRH and center safety policies.
Prevention Programs:
Coordinate Tobacco Use Prevention (TUPP) and Healthy and Active Lifestyles (HEALS) programming, including annual prevention events.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of professional substance abuse counseling experience.
Licensure:
Active State certification or licensure as a substance abuse/addiction counselor (e.g., CAC, LAC, or equivalent) in the state of Colorado.
Core Competencies:
Proficient in clinical documentation, treatment planning, and drug testing chain-of-custody procedures.
Background Check:
Must clear a standard background check for working with youth; DOL approval is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with adolescents and young adults. Experience with co-occurring disorders. Experience in prevention programming.
Pay:
$26.00 - $32.00 per hour
