A Substance Abuse Counselor counsels people struggling with addictions to alcohol, drugs or other substances. Assists clients in dealing with personal and professional problems related to substance abuse. Collaborates with other health care and mental health care professionals to coordinate services for clients, and works with families of substance abusers. May work in a clinic, health care facility or community based program, or work with clients referred through the criminal justice system.

Jodie Goter, LPC, LLC is hiring therapists to run group therapy sessions, conduct individual therapy, complete intake assessments, and/or write comprehensive evaluations with clients who have committed sexual offenses or for individuals with Problematic Sexual Behavior (PSB). We are looking for LCSW, LSW, LPC, LMFT, LPCC, or MFTC. Must be able to work within a team of other professionals and keep files/case management up to date. Although many applicants may hesitate upon seeing that this role involves working with sex offenders or people with PSB, our core mission is centered on breaking cycles of abuse and preventing future victimization.
