This role provides individual counseling, group facilitation, and classroom instruction to individuals overcoming substance abuse and other life-controlling issues using a Christ-centered, biblical approach. Responsibilities (This is not intended to be all-inclusive. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.) Provide individual and group counseling focused on substance abuse recovery, relapse prevention, co-dependency, and life-controlling issues. Facilitate classroom instruction (up to 4 times weekly). Maintain a caseload of approximately 15 residential students. Complete assessments (biopsychosocial and spiritual) and individualized program plans. Ensure students attend classes and meet weekly requirements. Maintain accurate, organized case files and documentation. Collaborate with case management staff to support student progress. Participate in weekly staff meetings, staffing, and conflict resolution sessions. Evaluate student progress and make program completion recommendations. Assist with drug/alcohol screenings and room/property searches as needed. Provide coverage for counseling or classes when team members are absent. Participate in program graduations and events. Provide spiritual support, including prayer and sharing faith aligned with CRM's mission. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Christian Counseling, Addictions Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, or related field. Experience in Christian counseling and substance abuse recovery. Strong understanding of relapse prevention, co-dependency, and biblical counseling principles. Ability and willingness to incorporate faith into counseling sessions. Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Proficient in basic computer applications. Must agree with CRM Statement of Faith, Code of Ethics, and Position Statements.
License/Certification:
Driver's License (Required) CAP or CAC Certification (Preferred) Character Requirements Demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a clear biblical testimony. Maintains strict confidentiality and professional boundaries. Shows compassion and enthusiasm when serving diverse populations.
