Our partner, a Southeastern Kansas FQHC, is seeking a compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to provide quality, patient-centered care and help individuals access the resources they need on their recovery journey. This role uses integrated models of care and collaborates with a supportive team to strengthen and improve the lives of individuals and families in the communities they serve.

Qualifications and Licensing:

Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy or other closely related field Active Kansas LAC, LMAC, LCAC, required Dual licensed as LSCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMSW, preferred Minimum of two years of supervised experience delivering substance abuse treatment Detailed understanding of addiction counselor core competencies and treatment models Complete 1-3 CE hours per license renewal period in Adolescent Addiction Treatment and/or Diagnosing Our partner Our partner is an integrated health care center, offering a range of medical services including dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, walk-in care, addiction treatment and other areas. Additional services beyond healthcare include transportation, care coordination, help with insurance enrollment, and more.
