A Substance Abuse Counselor counsels people struggling with addictions to alcohol, drugs or other substances. Assists clients in dealing with personal and professional problems related to substance abuse. Collaborates with other health care and mental health care professionals to coordinate services for clients, and works with families of substance abusers. May work in a clinic, health care facility or community based program, or work with clients referred through the criminal justice system.

New Season Treatment Centers is hiring a Substance Use Counselor to support patients in outpatient treatment for opioid use disorder (OUD). For over 30 years, New Season has been a national leader in outpatient treatment for opioid use disorder, providing medication-assisted treatment and whole-person care that helps patients reclaim their lives.

LADC Also:
Strong communication and documentation skills Passion for helping individuals in recovery Experience in substance use or behavioral health preferred
