Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Labor / Future Foreman to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to develop their leadership skills and advance into supervisory positions within the construction industry. As a key team member, you will assist in managing daily site operations, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting project execution. Your hands-on experience and proactive approach will contribute to the successful completion of complex construction projects, with a focus on pipeline, commercial, and heavy civil work. Responsibilities Assist in supervising construction crews, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely Support project managers in coordinating construction schedules and maintaining project timelines using tools like Primavera P6 and Procore Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans to guide onsite activities Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to construction standards and safety regulations such as OSHA and federal safety protocols Manage daily site safety practices, enforce construction safety management policies, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations Collaborate with management to review contracts, manage budgets, and oversee construction estimating processes using software like Prolog and HeavyBid Supervise crew management activities including training, assigning tasks, and maintaining effective communication among team members Requirements Proven experience in construction site operations with a strong understanding of heavy civil or commercial construction projects Demonstrated ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, Prolog, HeavyBid, and Construction scheduling tools Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations including OSHA standards and construction safety management practices Hands-on experience supervising teams on active job sites with a focus on quality control and safety compliance Strong managerial communication skills for managing crews effectively and coordinating with project stakeholders Ability to interpret technical drawings using tools like ohmmeters for electrical schematics when necessary Valid experience in managing project schedules, budgets, and contracts within the scope of commercial or pipeline construction projects Join us if you're ready to build your career in a fast-paced environment where your leadership potential can flourish!
