•25.00 per hour (Based on credentials and experience) Join Our Team and Help Individuals Build Lasting Recovery Gardenia Services, LLC is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and dedicated Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC/CADC-I) to provide direct clinical services within our Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program (SAIOP) and Substance Abuse Comprehensive Outpatient Treatment (SACOT) programs. The ideal candidate will facilitate psychoeducational and recovery-focused groups, provide substance use counseling, complete clinical documentation, collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, and support individuals throughout their recovery journey. Primary Responsibilities Facilitate SAIOP and SACOT group counseling sessions using evidence-based practices. Provide individual substance use counseling as assigned. Deliver psychoeducational groups covering topics such as: Relapse Prevention Triggers and Cravings Coping Skills Recovery Planning Life Skills Communication Skills Anger Management Emotional Regulation Healthy Relationships Stress Management Medication Education Stages of Change Recovery Support Systems Complete comprehensive clinical documentation in accordance with NC Medicaid requirements. Develop and update Person-Centered Plans and treatment goals. Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings. Monitor client progress and collaborate on discharge planning. Maintain compliance with ASAM Criteria and applicable Clinical Coverage Policies. Communicate effectively with referral sources, probation/parole officers, DSS, MCOs, and other community partners as appropriate. Maintain HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality standards. QualificationsRequired Current CADC or CADC-I certification. Experience working with individuals experiencing substance use disorders. Knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches. Excellent documentation and organizational skills. Strong communication and group facilitation abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Experience facilitating SAIOP or SACOT groups.

Knowledge of:

ASAM Criteria Motivational Interviewing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Relapse Prevention Harm Reduction principles Familiarity with NC Medicaid documentation standards.
