We're looking for a dedicated Substance Abuse Counselor to support our patients on their recovery journey in our Raleigh outpatient clinic. Why Join New Season? What You'll Do:
Conduct patient intakes, admissions, transfers, and discharges Complete psychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans Provide individual, group, and family counseling Maintain a minimum of 20 hours of direct patient counseling each week Educate patients on addiction, recovery, relapse prevention, and healthy living Identify case management and behavioral health needs while coordinating patient care Collect urine drug screens and patient identification documentation Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians, nurses, counselors, and clinic leadership to deliver exceptional patient care
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or a related behavioral health field Active North Carolina CADC or LCAS-A credential required Experience in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, mental health, or counseling preferred Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills Passion for helping individuals achieve long-term recovery About New Season New Season Treatment Centers operates one of the nation's largest networks of outpatient addiction treatment centers, providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals recovering from opioid addiction.
