Champlain Valley Family Center is a leading provider of integrated behavioral health services in Plattsburgh, NY. As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), we are committed to providing comprehensive, person-centered care to individuals and families in our community.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Counselor with a
CASAC/LMSW/LMHC
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing assessment, counseling, and support services to individuals struggling with substance abuse issues. This position plays a crucial role in our clinic's mission to promote recovery and wellness for all our clients. CVFC strives to provide quality and compassionate care for our clients, and would love to have those who align with that working with us! Pay range is based off of certifications, licensure and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct substance abuse assessments and develop treatment plans based on individual needs. Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
CASAC, LMSW or LMHC certification required Experience working in a behavioral health or substance abuse treatment setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
