NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY MOST BACHELOR'S DEGREES

QUALIFY, including Criminal Justice and Education. Substance Abuse Counselors work directly with our students to identify their rehabilitative needs while collaborating with our clinical team to develop individualized treatment objectives and plans. Counselors receive comprehensive training to become effective group and individual counselors to enable students with achieving their clinical goals. The position works Monday through Friday from 2:45pm - 10:45pm. No weekends. The Academy Schools also provides the training and supervision necessary to earn advanced addictions counseling certification through the Pennsylvania Certification Board. Summit Academy will work with new staff to obtain licensure or certification through Pennsylvania Certification Board, including providing all required supervision and training. Applicants already possessing licensure or certification through PCB will be eligible for additional compensation.
