Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing therapeutic support to individuals and families, particularly in areas such as family counseling, addiction counseling, and PTSD/trauma care. This role requires a commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to promote mental health and well-being. Duties Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients, focusing on behavioral therapy techniques. Conduct assessments to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients. Document patient progress and maintain up-to-date client records in accordance with organizational policies. Stay informed about the latest developments in counseling practices and mental health resources. trained in the ASAM Dimensions Qualifications Bachelors degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Valid licensure or certification as required by state regulations. Experience in family counseling, addiction counseling, or PTSD/trauma care is preferred Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
