Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM-1:00 PM, Saturday, 7:00 AM - 10:00

Counselors rotate Saturday shifts

Clear Choices, 373 Cleveland St, Rochester, PA 15074 Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Substance Use Disorder Counselor to join our opioid treatment program (OTP). The counselor will provide direct support and counseling services to individuals receiving medication-assisted treatment, including methadone, while helping patients work toward recovery and long-term stability. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable working in an early-morning clinical environment and is committed to providing respectful, nonjudgmental, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Maintain a caseload of 35+ patients Provide services of 20+ face-time hours per week after ramp-up period Provide individual and group counseling to patients receiving opioid treatment services. Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and program requirements. Complete clinical documentation, progress notes, assessments, and other required records accurately and in a timely manner. Monitor patient progress and collaborate with the treatment team regarding ongoing care. Provide education and support related to substance use, recovery, relapse prevention, and coping skills. Participate in treatment plan reviews and case coordination. Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and patient confidentiality. Follow all applicable federal, state, and organizational regulations and policies. Participate in team meetings, trainings, and other required program activities. Provide Saturday coverage on a rotating schedule with other counselors. Qualifications Experience working in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, or an opioid treatment program preferred. Must be able to produce copy of degree and transcripts Experience providing individual and/or group counseling preferred. ASAM and DDAP trainings is preferred. Knowledge of substance use disorders, recovery principles, and evidence-based counseling practices. Strong communication, documentation, organization, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment. Appropriate counseling/behavioral health credentials or education required based on applicable state and program requirements.

$45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per hour
