What they do

A Substance Abuse Counselor counsels people struggling with addictions to alcohol, drugs or other substances. Assists clients in dealing with personal and professional problems related to substance abuse. Collaborates with other health care and mental health care professionals to coordinate services for clients, and works with families of substance abusers. May work in a clinic, health care facility or community based program, or work with clients referred through the criminal justice system.

Job Description

Therapist / Counselor We are seeking compassionate and professional Therapists/Counselors to join our growing private practice team. To be considered, candidates must hold a valid Illinois state license (LPC, LSW, LCPC, LCSW, or PsyD). We are looking for individuals who are dedicated to clinical excellence and eager to grow their practice in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform intake interviews & assessments Provide individual and/or couples counseling Schedule appointments and accurately and efficiently update changes Provide and apply evidence based practices Develop, implement and review treatment plans Collaborate with additional treatment providers Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner
