Role:
PART-TIME BI-LINGUAL SPANISH COUNSELORS ONLY.
Join Neighborhood House Of North Richmond as a DUI & Substance Abuse Counselor, where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals on their journey to recovery. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the Richmond community while working with a dedicated team of professionals.
Responsibilities:
Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for clients dealing with DUI and substance abuse issues. Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with regulations. Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field preferred Current certification or licensure as a substance abuse counselor. Minimum of 2 years of experience in substance abuse counseling. Strong understanding of DUI laws and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations bs staff. Compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor. Proficient in record-keeping and documentation practices.
