Job Description

Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Private Clinic Counselor needed for a small private clinic currently searching for a full-time LCDC in Corpus Christi, TX. Must be able to work very early morning hours. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening. Duties to include but not limited to: Assessments, obtaining patient's personal information and medical history. Developing treatment and rehabilitation plan by using his/her knowledge of alcohol and drug dependency and counseling, while tailoring the process based on patient's needs. Maintaining case history and progress notes while observing his/her patients. Work to restore patients to productive roles by educating them about available community-based organizations, and social and employment services. Work with a team made up of other clinicians and medical staff to provide effective treatment to the patients.
