Growth opportunities On-the-job training We are currently seeking a substance abuse counselor to provide individual and group counseling services to out-patient clients at our clinic. We are looking for the right candidate to be an effective, compassionate and empathetic individual who is able to build strong client relationships and be an effective role model to bring about change. The starting pay listed is for an LCDC, however we welcome C.I.'s and are a successful Clinical Training Institution. (The starting pay for LCDC-CI's would be determined according to hours and experience.)

Responsibilities:

Seek and obtain feedback from clients and peers. Implement appropriate measures to address issues identified during case conferences. Provide individual, family, and group therapy for substance abuse. Implement appropriate intervention strategies when needed. Demonstrate familiarity with relevant treatment methods and approaches. Demonstrate knowledge of legal and ethical issues in the field of substance abuse counseling.

$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
