We need dependable professionals who are ready to join our team as soon as possible. This position is ideal for a clinician or counselor who values meaningful client contact, teamwork, professional growth, accountability, and high-quality documentation. Responsibilities will be assigned according to the employee's credentials, experience, approved scope of practice, and program needs. Key Responsibilities Facilitate engaging substance use and behavioral health groups. Provide individual counseling, psychoeducation, and therapeutic interventions within the scope of your credential. Complete or contribute to clinical assessments, individualized treatment plans, and continuing-care plans. Help clients identify triggers, strengthen coping skills, and develop relapse-prevention strategies. Support recovery, mental health stability, personal accountability, and successful community reintegration. Complete accurate, timely, and professional clinical documentation and progress notes. Participate in treatment-team meetings, care coordination, and collaboration with other service providers. Connect clients with community resources and recovery supports that promote long-term stability. Maintain professional boundaries and comply with ethical, licensing, certification, agency, and regulatory requirements. Required Qualifications Current Virginia-recognized credential or professional status as a CSAC, CSAC-S, LMHP, or LMHP-E. Knowledge of substance use disorders, mental health conditions, recovery principles, and co-occurring treatment needs. Ability to facilitate groups and engage individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. Strong verbal communication, written communication, organization, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently while remaining an active and dependable member of a multidisciplinary team. Professional judgment, integrity, compassion, consistency, and appropriate clinical boundaries. Ability to work in person in Richmond, Virginia. Preferred Experience Experience providing substance use treatment or behavioral health services. Experience working with adults who have co-occurring substance use and mental health needs. Experience with group facilitation, clinical assessments, treatment planning, relapse prevention, or community-based services.
