New Way Treatment Position Overview:
New Way Treatment is seeking a full-time Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) to provide clinical services at the William Booth Center. The clinician will deliver Level 2.1 Intensive Outpatient and Level 1 Outpatient services , including both group counseling and individual therapy sessions , to individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorders. We are looking for a clinician with a dynamic and engaging personality who can effectively connect with clients, foster trust, and create a supportive therapeutic environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong listening skills, empathy, and the ability to acknowledge each client's unique experiences while guiding them toward positive change and recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate Level 2.1 Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) group counseling sessions Conduct Level 1 outpatient group therapy sessions Provide individual counseling sessions based on treatment plans and clinical need Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans Complete clinical assessments, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with regulatory requirements Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state, facility, and New Way Treatment policies Monitor client progress and provide clinical interventions that support recovery and relapse prevention Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive treatment environment for all clients Collaborate with facility staff and New Way Treatment leadership to ensure continuity of care Encourage client engagement, accountability, and participation in the recovery process
Qualifications:
Must hold a current SUDP credential (Substance Use Disorder Professional) Experience providing group and individual counseling for substance use disorders Experience working with Level 2.1 Intensive Outpatient and Level 1 Outpatient programs preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical documentation skills Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with treatment teams Demonstrated ability to listen, acknowledge, and meaningfully engage clients in treatment

Schedule:
Full-time position. Schedule determined in coordination with the William Booth Center and New Way Treatment.
