Job Description

This full-time position involves developing and implementing individual and group interventions focused on reintegration planning and substance abuse treatment. It includes conducting evaluations with evidence-based tools, creating case and treatment plans, and delivering proven substance abuse programming to support clients in successfully completing programs. Salary ranges from $29.94 to $34.34 per hour, with potential add-on pay based on credentials. A sign-on bonus of up to $2,000 may be available for new hires without recent state employment, contingent on a commitment to stay for at least one year.
  • Requirements:
  • Substance Abuse Counselor credential (SAC-IT, SAC, or CSAC) issued by the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services, or pending application with meeting criteria. Applicants with pending SAC-IT credentials must obtain it within 12 months of hire.
