Job Description

At School Kids Connection (SKC), we're dedicated to providing a dynamic and supportive afterschool experience for students across Fayetteville. Our licensed program caters to kids at 9 elementary and 3 middle schools, creating a safe and engaging environment where children can thrive academically, socially, and creatively. This program takes place Monday-Friday from 2:30-6 pm. Are you passionate about making a positive impact on young lives? Join our team as an Afterschool Program Counselor and become a catalyst for fun, learning, and growth in the SKC Program. In this role, you'll be at the heart of an enriching afterschool experience, guiding and inspiring students as they navigate their afternoon activities. What you'll do: Lead a variety of fun and educational activities, such as arts and crafts, games, sports, and academic enrichment programs. Offer guidance and support to help children develop their social, emotional, and academic skills. Provide one-on-one tutoring and assistance with schoolwork. Supervise children and maintain a safe and orderly environment. Maintain open and regular communication with parents and guardians about their child's progress. Continuously learn and grow through training and professional development opportunities. What you'll need: A passion for working with youth Previous experience with youth is a plus!
