What We're Looking For:
We're seeking imaginative, committed, and high-energy individuals who love a good challenge and want to make a positive difference in the lives of young people. You should be available for a part-time schedule from Monday to Friday, year-round, right here in Napa. No weekends required!
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Must be at least 18 years old Ability to meet minimum qualification standards for an Instructional Aide Ability to pass pre-employment Tuberculosis screening Able to pass federal criminal background screenings
Schedule:
The required working schedule for this position is 1:30pm-6pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and 12:15pm-6:00pm each Wednesday.
Educational Requirements:
All BGCNV employees working with youth must meet one of the following educational benchmarks: Completion of a Bachelor's degree. Completion of an Associate's degree. Completion of 48 college credits. A passing score on the NVUSD Instructional Assistant Exam. (Candidates who do not pass the exam will be terminated from the position. )
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working or volunteering with youth in a recreational setting Skills in planning programs and activities for kids CPR & First Aid Certifications Your Responsibilities as a
