  • $22 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Professional development assistance Flexible schedule Qualifications Spanish CADC English Substance abuse counseling Substance abuse Full Job Description Jackson-Bibby Awareness Group is a licensed DUI education program serving court-ordered and DMV-ordered clients across the Inland Empire.
We're looking for a part-time counselor to facilitate weekly recurring groups at our Barstow location, with the potential to pick up an additional group in Victorville. Responsibilities
  • Facilitate weekly interaction groups and education sessions per program curriculum, beginning and ending on time
  • Conduct face-to-face interviews as required by program standards and Title 9
  • Encourage participants to identify and address alcohol/drug-related attitudes and behaviors
  • Monitor sobriety during group and individual sessions
  • Accurately assess and track participant fees and attendance
  • Document all program activities, status changes, violations, and correspondence in compliance with San Bernardino County standards Requirements
  • Certified or licensed DUI program counselor (CADC or equivalent)
  • Registered counselors working toward certification considered
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Compensation & Benefits
