Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Before and After School Programs Coordinator, dedicated to creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children in our Destin and Riverside locations. In this role, you will lead dynamic youth programs that foster growth, learning, and fun. Your energetic leadership will inspire children to develop new skills, build friendships, and enjoy meaningful activities before and after school hours. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on young lives while working in a lively, supportive setting. Duties Supervise children during before and after school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities including arts and crafts, outdoor games, educational exercises, and youth group events Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management strategies Maintain a secure environment by adhering to first aid protocols, CPR procedures, and emergency response guidelines Collaborate with school staff, parents, and team members to support each child's individual needs and development goals Lead outdoor work activities such as playground supervision, sports, and nature exploration to promote physical activity Document daily attendance, activity participation, and incident reports accurately Skills Strong classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including daycare or camp experience Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques Certification in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and familiarity with first aid protocols Ability to facilitate youth group activities that promote social skills and teamwork Experience with special education needs or working with diverse student populations is a plus Excellent child supervision skills combined with enthusiasm for outdoor work and active play Proven team leadership capabilities with the ability to motivate and guide staff or volunteers Background in teaching or youth development programs enhances your effectiveness in this role Compassionate Christian counseling or experience working within faith-based youth programs is desirable Embark on a rewarding journey where your energy fuels children's growth!
